@faith_ayyyy: WE MADE IT TO THE NYC MARATHON!!! I set out on this couch to marathon journey with 3 goals in mind - don’t lose a toe nail, $h!t yourself or injure yourself. I accomplished 1/3 of those goals, can you guess which one? I am not a runner, have never been a runner and still do not like running. I have no desire to run one of these again, BUT I will say that I have never felt more rewarded by anything I’ve ever done in my life through training hard, persevering through injuries and other road blocks and accomplishing what I told myself I could never do years ago. The only difference between then and now was a change in mind set. I am so grateful to have had this experience. The amount of love from friends, family and everyone of you guys cheering me on during race day is the real reason I was able to cross that finish line, so thank you!
