National average of childcare is 15k per kid soooo if you make 100k pre tax it would be a struggle and if you’re 100k after tax it would be easier

Not when childcare is now the cost of a mortgage and groceries are the cost of a mortgage plus the price of your mortgage. Not counting anything else

Nope. If you want to live in a safe place with good schools…nope. I have no car payment and make this and have basic bills and two kids at home. Between my medical bills and my children medical bills and no vacation this year. I don’t think we shoukd just be surviniivg but at least enjoying some Lucerne’s like a regular vacation or something. I should not stress over a yearbook cost or field trip cost or something. And we hardly eat out and I shouldn’t worry if we do for a special occassion. What is point if just surviving. That’s no fun. My kids in good suburb in good school district abd aim a single mom and barely making it abd not able to have any leftover to save. I will be working til I die.
