So I have a different method. Separate in half and then I score each half into 4 sections. Hit the back with a wooden spoon. Takes me 90 sec per pom

I so agree. they are my fave and I was so happy to see cups of seeds especially when out of season. and yuck. I couldn't believe how nasty they were and not to mention like 8 bucks for 1 cup of them!
