Surgeons are amazing. Unfortunately, there are also failures and a great deal of pain. Medicine is fantastic.But, it doesn’t always work.

Had this surgery in the summer of 2019. Obviously don’t remember the procedure but pain was minimal. For me afterwards the problem was sitting for awhile as my shoulder would burn after 30 minutes

Besides the obvious pain, do patients feel more relief or soreness from their spine being moved so dramatically? And would they appear taller?

I had Scoliosis surgery when I was 12 years old , that was 45 years ago.. I had a 70 degree curve. mine was done by a top pediatric scoliosis surgeon Dr Keim in Columbia Presbyterian hospital, NY.
