@gemsofscience: For my 26th stone I cut a rupee from Dan Hurd's Dana Blue gem silica! It is set in 14k rose gold as a pendant, and you can buy it at the link in my bio or directly on TurtlesHoard.com This stone is cut from 'Dana Blue' gem silica, the highest grade of Dan Hurd's BC Ocean Picture Stone. It isn't really like other gem silica--the color is a bit lighter and the translucency is lower, and it isn't as evenly silicified so while it does take a nice polish it isn't a perfect mirror finish.
