@radnolan: Replying to @chukwuma Ubani When you’re first starting starting in UI & UX Design, it’s overwhelming deciding what to learn and when. I think you shouldn't focus on UX Design too early--you can learn that as you build your UI Design skills. You should, instead, start by learning the basics of a design tool like Figma, then diving into design fundamentals by recreating a new design every day. On the side, you should stdy typography and information architecture, but don’t try to learn all of UI design at once. Take the studies slowly or you'll lose interest taking on too many things. And you'll need the time because on top of the daily UI recreation, you should also design at least 10 full app designs from start to finish. The work will be really rough for a while, and that's okay. Understand that everyone started out this way, but passion helped them through the difficult learning process. #uiux #uidesigner #uxdesigner #appdesigner #designtutorials #figmadesign

What do you recommend for ppl struggling to even start projects? Outside of school or work, I feel no motivation to even start one.

@Nolan Perkins | Product Design I’m wanting to transfer from graphic design to visual UI design. How do I present my mock UI design projects in a way that makes them feel like they have some substance

Starting in design is hard, but if you do too much at once, you’ll get overwhelmed. Take it slow and just design every day
