It's arrest able offense not to sign the ticket. I agree the ticket is ridiculous but sign it. Going to be paying more in the long run.

That law is here too ... but it's NEVER enforced unless the person leaves trails across the road that are hazardous to traffic on heavy travel roads

It's not a contract. Technically a ticket means you are under arrest and your signature is your Bond and promise to show up to court hearing.
