I disagree. DashCam and fines are the only way that people are going to learn at this point. Everyone knows what to do, they just can't be bothered.

Here in California the DMV shows them about the red light crossing and behind in front of the school bus. It doesn’t help they don’t care

Our school bus pulls up in front of our house at an angle so the cars cannot pass. Not sure I'f this is a possibility.

Yesterday on my bus there’s one stop on the highway and for the first time in a while unfortunately 2 vehicles ran the reds and stop sign. 🥺

Where I lived in the 90s there was a campaign with people turning on their hazards in schools zones and when behind a stopped bus. In part bc of fog

I’ve seen buses stopping diagonally across both lanes during stops which I think it’s sad it has come to it.

My child’s driver leans on the horn. Amazon, UPS and other drivers usually lay on theirs too but her stop is on a 4 lane road. So it happens daily.

Our small town PD educated them in person and then lets them know if they need to return again it’ll be with cuffs.

Pull the bus across all lanes of traffic. That way EVERYONE has to stop, till you’re done unloading or loading the kids. They will learn. Good luck

In NY the buses have cameras that auto send 250 tickets if you drive past a bus with the lights on.
