Based on our observations, she can be a bit shy at first but warms up nicely with time and affection, showing off her gentle nature. She appears to do well around other dogs and loves getting pets once she feels comfortable. Due to capacity at the shelter, this pet is currently at risk for euthanasia. We are urgently seeking placement through adoption, foster, or approved rescue. Nervous able to handle. 10/07/26: Description of concerns: loose stool Duration of symptoms: 10/07/26 11:12 Medical Departments Findings: 10/07/26: 15:49 pt is BAR and kennel clean. no fecal sample brought to medical. 10/09/26: Three days since observed mucoid nasal discharge and put in a move to contagious. On hw doxy only. 10/09/26: Description of concerns: coughing Duration of symptoms: 10/09/26 08:10 Medical Departments Findings: Already has med review. 10/09/26: No stool in kennel but Pt appears sick. Nasal discharge and on Doxy. - 10/9- QAR, eating treats, mucoid nasal discharge. Stay on doxy and move to contagious. 10/12/26: Recheck CIRD. 3 days on clindamycin. Also on HW Doxy 10/15/26 10:41 pt was BAR, eating well. slight cough noticed. ok to continue. 10/12/26: QAR. Eating okay. Clear nasal discharge. Constant coughing. RX: Clindamycin 150mg 1.5T BID 10 days 10/13/26: Description of concerns: animal care staff brought this dog to my attention; she is not eating and is very skinny. Duration of symptoms: Medical Departments Findings: 10/13-Patient will eat chicken very readily. Will recheck again tomorrow to see how she is doing. 10/13/26 17:11- Pt is sick. Did eat 1/2 can of chicken. 10/14-QAR. Not eating kibble food but is eating chicken. PLAYGROUP 10/2/26: This dog is people oriented, wary of handler, timid, kept to self, and can over correct. DG: Dainty & Gentle SHELTER OBSERVATION 10/1/26: Beautiful girl, very shy but loves affection VOLUNTEER OBSERVATION 10/3/26: Timid Good Manners;Good on Leash Warms Up;Solicits Pets Hailey was very calm in her kennel, a bit timid but she was easy to leash, has good manners and is very sweet. She was scared at the beginning but throughout the walk she warmed up and did really good. She was not reactive to other dogs barking at her and did really good when we were walking next to another dog. When we got back to her kennel and entered and was petting her and she looved it and I got some tail wags. Veeery sweet girl!!
