or just send an appeal. Most of the time its an auto rejection bc of some errors on the claim by the provider, wrong code, plan etc

also, make sure the office billed the correct codes &/or didn't double-bill. If you get an unexpected bill, it's a good chance it was billed wrong

just remember when it goes to collections they only have 30 days to respond to you contesting the debt and well after a couple month they tend to slip
