@jeawok_media: Young Shaquille O'Neal was known for two things: being the most dominant center in the NBA, and breaking backboards. It was such a problem, that the NBA literally had to CHANGE THE RULES to accommodate Shaq! First, the league began mandating that all arenas have a backup hoop in case it got Shaq'd. But when that didn't stop him from breaking those backups, the league had to figure out how to prevent the backboards from shattering. And so, the league changed the materials the backboards were made from to prevent injury to Shaq AND the other players! Talk about an iconic performance!
