You should try letting your spears sit in salt for a few hours, then rinse and pickle. Much more crunchy!

My grandma makes pickles a lot and one thing she does is she puts grape leafs on top when she’s done then seals them and they make them super crunchy

If you can’t find the right cucumbers you can use the little ones you used for the mustard pickles and cut in half and they’ll hold up!
