@thechefyaso: Maftoul (Palestinian Couscous): As a tribute to our beautiful heritage Maftoul is made of wheat, where the wheat is boiled, dried in the sun and cracked, and hand-rolled in organic whole wheat flour, then steamed and sun-dried again. Palestinian women make the couscous by hand following traditional methods. As of this post, more than 11,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed since October 7, more than 4,500 are CHILDREN. By the time this is posted this number will most likely be higher. Each day that passes without a ceasefire, more civilian lives are being lost. At least 180 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by either Israeli settlers or Israeli soldiers.
