@coreybricker: These were some big sheep with very soft skin and a lot of wool! Almost impossible not to nick them. Anyone who’s ever shorn a sheep will tell you it’s nearly impossible not to cut or nick the sheeps skin sometimes. Our job as a shearer is to try and minimize that as much as possible by using the right gear and proper technique for the particular breed we are shearing.
