Why not just fix the precharge on the pressure tank and adjust the kick in pressure instead of replacing the switch?

We had no water pressure one day so I went in the basement to find the floor soaked and the elbow on the bottom of the tank blown out

Nice work. I usually will drain the tank to verify that there is no water above the bladder as well when troubleshooting pressure issues.

ok I don't get it...if tank is 38 and cut in is 40 won't the pump run at 40 cycle up to 60 then repeat when no demand? ours sure does...aqua 2 boost should pump I set output at 60 and tank at 55

If you’re still experiencing lower pressures (maybe from line buildup….well). Can I replace the switch with one that has more pressure?? Say a 60-80?
