Creme Brulee couldn’t be easier. This creme brulee recipe is silky, creamy and decedent. Easy step by step instructions will guarantee great results the first time. INGREDIENTS: 5 egg yolks 1/2 cup of granulated sugar plus more to top the creme brulee 2 cups heavy whipping cream 1 whole vanilla bean pod or 1/2 tbsp vanilla bean paste 2 tbsp dry instant milk/ you can skip if not available Preparation: Split the vanilla bean open, scrape off the seeds inside, set aside. In a sauce pan add the heavy cream, vanilla seeds and the vanilla bean itself. Add 1 tbsp of sugar 2 tbsp instant dry milk، mix well until it comes to a boil, set side. Use a sieve to strain the cream mixture. In a different clean bowl add the egg yolks and the rest of the sugar and whisk very well. Add 1 tbsp of the cream to the egg yolk mixture to temper. Whisk well, add another tbsp and then the whole cream mixture and whisk. Put back in the pan and cook until the mixture reaches 180°f or 82°C. Place on top of an ice bath to cool for 5 minutes. Strain one last time for a silky smooth finish. Divide between 5 ramekins. Bake inside a water bath at 300°f for 35-40 minutes. Remove when it sets but still a little jiggly. Cool in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight. When ready to serve, make sure the top is dry add 1 tsp of sugar and caramelize using a torch.
