@melophilus: Crows and Ravens. Same call notation, same colour. So how do you tell the difference? If you can only see one, check it's neck and its tail. Ruffled neck feathers for Ravens and a pointy tip to its tail. Crows are smooth necked with a wedge tail. Happy Corvid spotting!
