Thank you for posting! I wish we could raise awareness on this topic without being ridiculed or laughed at. It’s embarrassing bc no one believes it’s a real thing. Imagine a world where it was known, accepted and accommodated. It’s at least refreshing to see other ppl talk about their experiences w this! We’re not alone.

I’ve lived here for 5 months and I still use my gps to walk a mile away. I’ve been lost 450 ft from the house. I got lost 2 diffrent locked rooms twice this week. I also got lost in a hall way with 4 doors, I’m not kidding.

I am a neurodivergent guy and i am an Uber driver. I struggle with various learning disabilities. Among those disabilities is Dyscalculia, AKA Number Dyslexia. Dyscalculia affects my spatial awareness and my ability to memorize the map on the screen. I struggle to visualize and anticipate when i need to turn right and left. That’s the only way i know how to explain it.

YES I DO HAVE THAT, and there's almost no content about it on the internet, unlike other conditions like adhd! I wish I could find more information and reports about it :((

I can, my mum can't. As a child I gave her directions to go as I always remembered the way, even when it was the first time

Yes, it is really hard. I have lived in the same place for 22 years and can’t tell you how to get to the library or school which is a road that connects to the one I live on. It’s hard.

I’ve struggled with the same problem. I need to go to a place at least 15 times before I can remember how to get there without navigation. Taking a detour is a nightmare for me. 😒

I have the same problem but doesn't it affect your driving ability? I'm scared to get my driver licence because of that.

it's a legit thing. I know it is always a characteristic of the quirky heroine but it is a real thing.
