@ben_yanes: The serratus anterior is one of those tissues that comes along the ride in every upper body motion - it’s either playing a role in creating motion (protraction/upward rotation), or resisting & stabilizing motion (as in a row, pulldown etc). That said, presses and raising will likely involve higher degrees of serratus activity and thus should be prioritized if training its function is your primary goal. Want to learn more from me?
