Until one day it hit me — **There are 4 prayers He's never silent on.** **I was just praying for the wrong things.** **1 — "Lord, give me wisdom."** I used to ask Him — **"Just tell me the answer."** Should I take this job? Should I stay in this relationship? **I wanted conclusions.** Until I switched it up — **"Lord, give me wisdom — so I can see it for myself."** James 1:5 (KJV) — **"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not."** **He gives freely. And He doesn't shame you for asking.** --- **2 — "Lord, search my heart."** This one — I used to be too scared to pray. I didn't want Him looking in. I didn't want Him seeing **the ugly parts I was hiding.** Until one day I was just tired. I dropped to my knees and said — **"Lord… just look. All of it."** Psalm 139:23 (KJV) — **"Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts."** **He's not coming in to condemn you. He's coming in to heal you.** **The moment you invite Him to see — is the moment the healing starts.** **3 — "Lord, forgive me."** I once held onto something — **for years.** In prayer, I'd **skip right over it.** Like if I didn't say it, He wouldn't know. Then one day, I knelt down — **and said it out loud. Word for word.** 1 John 1:9 (KJV) — **"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins."** I cried that night. **Not because I was sad — but because that thing I'd been carrying for years — finally hit the ground.** **4 — "Lord, draw me closer to you."** (This is the deepest one.) Sounds simple. **But it's actually the hardest.** Because most of the time, I wasn't praying to be close to Him. I was praying — **"Make me successful. Make my family healthy. Make this month's rent work out."** **I was treating Him like my personal supplier.** James 4:8 (KJV) — **"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you."** **He never stays silent on this one. Every step you take — He takes one back.** This is the deepest prayer — because this is the only one where — **You're not asking for something *from* Him. You're asking for *Him.*** Friend — **Stop only praying for what you want.** **Start praying for who you want to become.** 👉 **Save this** — for when He feels silent again 👉 **Share this** — someone needs this right now **He's never silent.
