In a way yeah but it’s not “normal” by any chance . It could mean several things for cats , could be a sign of pain . You’ve never ran around playing hide and seek or snubbed your toe or leg on something hard that it hurt ? It could also be overly aggressive play time , by the way he’s sooo cute . I love Abyssinians

Cats are not supposed to pant yall , they use their saliva to cool themselves and they have sweat glands in their paws please take your kitty to the vet if they ever pant
