The average grad can’t buy a home in their 30s because the average grad spent 50% (or more) of the total price of a house on a paper in their teens and they can’t service both debts. You have to think about what degree you’ll get. I studied engineering and had $200k in debt but can pay it back easy now

The people making 80k+ with less than 5k in student loans still can’t buy in many areas bc rent is so high. Not really the school debt… it’s salaries.

Private college is absolutely overpriced. There are many excellent public schools that are reasonable. Choose majors and schools wisely.
