I don’t know what to do because my 7 yr old past her hearing test but has speech delay and still does. They re did hearing test past but she was very skilled at that point to “get by” on test.

I caught it in a baby at our center at 7 mos. Stopped babbling. Didn’t respond when we called his name or to loud noises. He got EI right away

I’ve noticed a huge portion of Doctors are far more afraid of causing unnecessary stress than in missing a diagnosis of any kind.

my daughter failed the hearing test as a baby was told it was narrow ears and fluid she's 5 and had grommets she was deaf I'm bless she can hear now😭

When I was a baby I did not pass my hearing test but that was no surprise every generation on my grandpas side has had some form of hearing loss 😅

47 here. didn't find out till the end of first grade that I was hard of hearing 40% both years. had to repeat 1st grade at a "special school".

3 failed hearing tests w the same results. Keep getting told “it’s mild. Give it 6 months and come back if you don’t think it’s gotten better” 🤯
