I don't use this kind of gouache. I like dry pan. but if you can get clove oil. put a drop in each tub and mix to prevent mold.

I use a clove water, water, rubbing Alcohol solution to prevent mold. Also use distilled water for rehydration. While painting you should also rehydrate the gouache so it doesn't dry out. 1/2

I was just reading with Jelly gouache (which is what himi is) it’s worth it to reactivate with distilled water. Impurities in water can make the paint

Better to let them dry out than leave excess water in the cups, many of the colors (especially the blues and black will grow mold)
