@jay.rose.phase6: Hanging is an extremely beneficial and simple, but often over-looked, way to improve your strength and longevity. This could be down to the fact that many people do not make the connection between our grip and our overall strength, when in fact, having great grip strength can dramatically improve anything from how long we can hang, to how we lift and carry weight. We personally love to include hanging variations into our training daily, whether that’s before or after (or during) our workouts! Especially beneficial for when you’re just starting out. If you’re just getting started with strength and mobility training, try implementing 15-30 second holds (active or inactive), and then progress to 30-90 second holds, alongside other grip strength techniques. This is a great way to increase your overall strength, as well as all the other benefits including in this video! Do you incorporate hanging into your training?👇 #gripstrength #spinaldecompression #strengthtraining #longevity #hanging #phasesix

There’s ‘workout’ equipment on the river levee/run path. I use the monkey bars. It started as a ‘can you make it across’ challenge for myself.💪🏽❤️
