@hswaid: Being an immigrant means spending all of your time and energy on survival and not on exploration. We often forget that our parents are living for the first time in this world, too. Any chance I get, I want my mom to experience novelty and serendipity. It’s like with each pit stop, her world- and my world, become bigger. Don’t take the little things for granted.
