@w2sixpackchef: I always say that being a chef & cooking is my way to communicate with people. Through food, I’ve been able to not only get the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, I’ve also been given the “super power” to evoke emotions from something as simple as knife skills. I’m grateful to have been able to not only have the privilege to meet culinary icons like @chefthomaskellr, @curtisduffy, @Eric Ripert @Adam Richman but to be part of the biggest celebration of Michelin in North America. It’s a very crazy thing to see & think that from something like knife skills which is an essential part of my trade, has allowed me to further be able to communicate with people; it’s another “ingredient” & component to me as a chef that I am able to share & offer. To be able to see people smile, surprised, shocked & happy when I show my cutting skills always makes me feel super blessed.
