It is found in the African Great Lakes region, specifically countries surrounding Lake Malawi (Tanzania, Malawi and Mozambique). The burgers are a great delicacy for those who cannot afford to eat meat. It takes over 500,000 mosquitos to make one of the patties and allegedly, it contains seven times more protein than a beef burger.
