MOOSE SHEPHERD’S PIE BOMBS🫎😮‍💨 I was gonna make a regular moose shepherd’s pie, but then this idea popped into my head… Crispy panko, cheesy mashed potato, rich moose filling and melted cheddar hidden in the middle all dropped into a bowl with hot gravy with beets on the side. Absolutely deadly! 🔥 INGREDIENTS 🛒 Moose filling: • 1 bottle moose with liquid • 1 onion • 5 garlic cloves • 1 large carrot • 3 celery stalks • 1 cup frozen peas • 1 tbsp tomato paste • Couple splashes Worcestershire sauce • Salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder Potatoes: • 6 medium potatoes • 2 tbsp garlic butter • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar • Salt Coating: • 1 beaten egg • Panko breadcrumbs • Cooking spray HOW TO MAKE THEM 👨‍🍳 1. Bring the bottled moose and liquid to a boil. Remove the moose and set it aside with a little liquid. 2. Cook the chopped onion, carrot and celery in the remaining liquid. Add the tomato paste, Worcestershire and seasonings, then return the shredded moose to the pot. Cook until thick and let it cool. 3. Boil and drain the potatoes. Mash them with garlic butter, shredded cheddar and salt, then let them cool. 4. Flatten some potato in your hand. Add the moose filling and three cheddar cubes, cover with more potato and roll it into a ball. 5. Brush with beaten egg, roll in panko, spray with oil and air-fry at 400°F for approximately 15 minutes. 6. Serve in a bowl with gravy poured over the top and beets on the side! A little extra work?
