I learned cursive in third grade because I would "only be allowed to use it" when I got older. guess who doesn't use and rarely needs to read cursive

cursive is like horseback riding, it used to be ubiquitous, now it's not necessary, and only the privileged to learn it, or need to learn it.

It’s always aboit cursive…. Handwritten things are rare these days. We don’t have to teach two types of writing the same words by hand. 😂

I learned cursive in school & the only use I’ve found is to write case notes illegibly in settings where getting them subpoenaed is a real risk.
