Methylated folate has not been proven to prevent neural tube defects it’s also not shelf stable meaning by the time you buy it, it’s normally spoiled the only thing that has been proven to prevent tube defects is folic acid 😒

Also telling people this is dangerous because what if the person has a family history of spina bifida or anencephaly also I am thankful that most foods are fortified with folic acid so even if you don’t take a prenatal you are still getting some
