Technically the plastic piece is only for assembly purposes to keep it together. The tension from the lifters will keep the rocker in place.

It’s a lifter/cam lobe, not the plastic clip that retains the rocker to the base.

All the 6.0’s I’ve worked on.. probably cam/lifter. I run jesel rockers on mine! Worth it.
