@slatinize: Disclaimer - I am not against filtering. I am against UNNECESSARY filtering. Sometimes no processing - is the best processing. And this especially applies to highly processed samples. Quality sample libraries usually provide well-mixed sounds, so focus on selecting the right sound rather than going overboard with alterations.
