That's the wrong size of piercing you have put in. You need a longer bar to allow swelling

Mine did that as well. The flat area like grew over the bar. Had to retire the piercing. I was so sad

yea mine also had to be angled different like more straight than vertical but I'm still happy with it and it's healing rn like my 4-5 day of having it
