@jsayersg: Amboseli National Park is home to some of the biggest elephants in the world, as well as several “super tuskers” (bull elephants with tusks that each individually weigh more than 100 pounds). It was amazing to watch these incredible creatures up close, but what surprised us most was the unique landscape of the park. The name Amboseli means “salty dust,” which is an accurate description—we saw dust devils on the horizon constantly. But throughout the park are magical oases of palm trees, deep marshes, and lakes full of flamingos and hippos. Not as prolific an environment as the Masai Mara but fascinating in its own way! #kenya #africa #safari #safaritok #amboseli #wildlife #elephants
