note also that the lag shouldn’t be as bad on stream - my audio is going thru my phone mic in this video so it’s processing faster!

So it looks like this no longer works in OBS 29+? The captions dock window isn't there under Dock nor under View. Even trying it in OBS 28 it doesn't.
