Why didn’t God stop that person from hurting you? This truth may bring you to tears. You keep telling yourself: “Maybe he will change.” “Maybe tomorrow will be different.” But God sees what you cannot see. He knows that this relationship is slowly draining your soul, stealing your peace, and even pulling you further and further away from the path He has prepared for you. So, God allowed that betrayal to happen. He allowed those cruel words to hurt you. He even allowed you to go through that desperate night. Not to punish you, but to completely break the illusion so that you could finally see the truth. As Romans 8:28 says: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.” KJV God closed that door because your life is too precious to keep being drained like this. He wants to set you free from that emotional trap and help you hear His true voice again. One day, you will kneel before God and thank Him: thank Him for not allowing that person to remain in your life.
