Postpartum is a time for rest, for your body, for bonding with your baby, so that you’re a healthier mom to everyone in the long run. It is not heroic to jump back in, don’t let anyone make you feel guilty for resting. I know VERY WELL it’s hard when you don’t have help. I haven’t for many of mine, especially when I lived 2000 miles away from any family.
