#ad This pulled pork sandwich is bonkers! 🤯 Happy #NationalSandwichMonth! I teamed up with @Kewpieusa to share one of my favorite sando recipes for the occasion! Most people probably think the pulled pork is the star of the show, but IMHO, an incredible coleslaw is the EASIEST way to level it up. And SO many people ignore it! All you need to do is swap in Kewpie mayo and you’ll instantly have a show-stopping slaw that can stand on its own or be put seamlessly into a pulled pork sando. Kewpie is more creamy and rich than western mayo, and it has this unique, umami-forward flavor that I can’t get enough of (if you follow me, you know I use it in nearly every recipe lol). I’m always looking for more ideas, so def let me know in the comments! #KEWPIEMayo #KEWPIESandwichSeries INGREDIENTS 2 brioche burger buns 8 oz coleslaw 1 tsp white vinegar 2 tbsp sugar 2 tsp dijon mustard a pinch of sea salt 1/2 cup Kewpie mayo 15 oz carnitas 5 oz BBQ sauce INSTRUCTIONS 1️⃣ Toast the insides of your buns in a pan over medium heat until golden brown. Set aside. 2️⃣ In a medium mixing bowl, add the white vinegar, sugar, dijon mustard, salt, and Kewpie mayo and mix until combined. Pour the coleslaw on top and using tongs to toss it until evenly coated. Set aside. 3️⃣ Prepare your carnitas per packaging instructions. You can absolutely make yours from scratch if you have the time and patience, but you know me, I’m all about quick and easy, so I typically just buy it from the store. 4️⃣ Transfer the carnitas to a large mixing bowl, and pour the BBQ sauce on top. Using tongs or your hands, toss it all until well coated. 5️⃣ Using tongs, place some coleslaw and BBQ pulled pork onto the buns. I don’t make the meat super saucy, but you can add more BBQ sauce on top if you’d like. 6️⃣ Enjoy!
