@iamrawan_: I want to be for you the resource I needed but never had. That’s why I started @rawansresources Too many of us are capable, hard-working, and full of potential, but face barriers to exposure and opportunities due to our backgrounds - a problem I’m eager to address. The prospect of this new format being a catalyst for you excites me because it mirrors the transformative impact exposure had on my own journey. Throughout my life, there’s been an intrinsic inclination to serve as the vessel, the bridge, and the conduit for what’s possible - so leaning into this feels like responding to a natural calling. Grateful to be honoring God’s gift. Subscribe today at www.rawansresources.com #collegejourney #firstgen #careerjourney #professionaldevelopment

Okay wellness mamas, here’s another one you’re going to want in your back pocket. We call this our Tamiflu Tea, and every ingredient is here for a reason. STAR ANISE contains shikimic acid, a compound historically used as a starting material in the production of Tamiflu. GINGER brings antioxidant and anti inflammatory plant compounds and is one of my favorites for soothing the stomach, throat and all around sick day support. CLOVES are packed with eugenol and other plant compounds studied for their antimicrobial and antioxidant activity. ORANGE OR LEMON brings vitamin C plus flavonoids, including quercetin, to the cup. RAW OR MANUKA HONEY is the finishing touch. Honey is incredibly soothing for a cough and irritated throat, and Manuka honey is especially prized for its antibacterial activity. This isn’t just a warm drink. I’m intentional about what goes into my wellness cabinet. TAMIFLU TEA 2 cups water 5 whole cloves 2 slices lemon or orange 4 star anise (use 2 if you’re sensitive to herbs) 1 knob organic ginger, sliced with the skin on Add everything above to a pot and simmer for 15 minutes. Allow it to cool slightly, then strain. Finish with: Juice of ¼ lemon or orange Raw honey or a good Manuka honey SAVE THIS. Because when somebody wakes up feeling rough, that is NOT when you want to start searching for what to make. And if you’ve been following ROOTED REMEDIES, we are just getting started. Fermented garlic honey. Mullein + garlic ear oil. Little Lungs Rub. Tamiflu Tea. And I have SO much more coming for coughs, congestion, sore throats, fevers, tummy bugs, earaches, immune support and all the things that come with caring for a family. My goal is simple: help you build a home wellness toolkit AND actually know what to do with it. Save this. Share it with another wellness mama. And follow because there is so much more coming.
