@thetravelingkings: We installed Molle panels in our 4Runner! 🥳 This is the best way to utilize more space while car camping. This means no more digging around under the platform at night trying to find our headlamps and other small items! We may even add spots for water bottles, chargers, and books. The possibilities really are endless! One helpful trick we learned ⬇️ To get the bolts to align nicely for final install: after the rivnuts are fastened to the body panel and the plastic panels are reinstalled, thread in the bolt without its spacer and manually apply sideways pressure on the bolt head to get it dead-center in the 3/4" hole in the plastic panels BEFORE installing the spacers and attempting to bolt the panels on.
