*sidenote 👇🏻 … this is not from start to finish. I didn’t start 2013. I started back in 2003. Camera phones just became better 📸 A few things are for sure: It didn’t happen overnight. It wasn’t always what it is. It has always been hard. But it has also always been fun. My journey did not get a kick start it gradually grew into becoming something that I WANT to do every single day. It started with lifting timber, stones, tires, and digging out dirt at 13…or even earlier Idk. It continued with entering the gym at 14. It wasn’t consistent nor educated lifting tho until I was 19. In between I was a teenager that wanted to try it all. But walking/running and at home pilates was something that I did day in and day out. At 19 I fell in love with the gym for reals again. I found my click of people that I truly enjoyed spending time there with. They encouraged me to 5 years later step on stage. I competed for 3 year, did 7 shows. A novice Champion x 4. It was fun, I loved it. Today I am 33 and lift because it is what I want, and because it is part of my job as a coach/a trainer. Competing was a chapter that I loved, but that I am no longer in. Now I keep lifting because I know my WHY I love bodybuilding. It deeply self-development. It teaches me so much about myself and my capabilities. I love the control it gives me and how it makes me feel. I lift because I love it. I lift because I feel empty without it. It’s not for the looks, the looks is the wonderful b-product of it which I will be forever proud and grateful of. I will keep going for as long as I like it this much. ☝🏼 How about you, what is your WHY to exercise in some way or form? #fitnessjourney #transformation #FitTok #fitnessmotivation #coach
