@ritaflora_: 📍 Kwanza Resort ⭐️ 2/10 - the only saving grace is the aesthetic and two staff members who were lovely. i’ve stayed at several luxury hotels and I can say aside from the look, this is definitely far from luxury pros: very beautiful hotel and lovely aesthetic BUT that’s where my praise ends cons: we experienced problems from the offset despite me communicating with the hotel for weeks that it was my boyfriend’s birthday and my requirements, we arrived to a room that I hadn’t booked with TWIN BEDS. The staff were then extremely unhelpful so we had to just accept this room for the night. They gaslit me and told me there were no more rooms although I could see availability online. Our issues didn’t end there: - our hot tub was always cold and when you would ask for hot water, staff would greet you with an attitude - the hot tub was faulty and flooded our balcony on several occassions - the water in the bathroom would either burn the hell out of your skin or be extremely cold - our shower was blocked throughout the entire trip - room service ignored our dietary requirements and brought my boyfriend food he was allergic to - booked all inclusive but it was not all inclusive, more like half board - lunch buffet food was never covered so birds and flys would be picking from it - i requested an iron and it just never showed up - restaurant booking system didn’t work so staff would challenge you about eating there - extremely limited menu - far from everything but taxis were easy to get
