@nancyryckman: how to safely get under the bar when back squatting ⬇️ #1: find an equal position for your hands, look at that bar and place your hands on the bar first #2: put your head under the bar where the grid is in the bar and look into the mirror to make sure everything looks equal #3: take two steps under the bar (please do not lift the bar off the rack with 1 foot) ensure BOTH feet are under the bar before you step back #4: take two steps back and find your position #5: look up, tuck your elbows in and squat down As a coach who has worked with many women, I’ve seen a lot of common mistakes and I hope this helps you when you back squat next! happy back squatting girlies 🏋️♀️ wearing: @Gymshark long sleeve top wearing: @lululemon biker shorts
