No a simple solution would be to be specific when asked if we’re black. In the US black is used interchangeably meaning culture and race in Dominican Republic race and ethnicity is not. So if you ask us in the US are we black we’re going to automatically assume you’re asking if we’re black American which we are NOT. We are Dominican and black race. Blessings
