Idk if i’m considered a lukewarm christian, I go to church every Sunday, I pray atleast every night and sometimes throughout the day, every morning I read a bible verse and I listen to both worship music and sometimes secular music but I avoid any music that uses His name in vain, I use to be a big Sabrina fan but after finding out about her Feather music vid in the church I got rid of everything

A lot of people hear “lukewarm” and immediately think it means not reading the Bible enough or not praying enough. But in Revelation 3 Jesus rebuked the church in Laodicea because they believed they were spiritually rich and didn’t really need Him. Their confidence was in themselves. The danger isn’t struggling in your walk with God. The danger is thinking you can fix yourself and become acceptable to Him by your own effort. The gospel was never “perform better so God accepts you.” The gospel is that we are saved by grace through faith, and from that relationship God begins to transform us. When we turn the Christian life into a checklist to prove we’re not lukewarm, we can actually fall into the same self-reliance Jesus warned about. If you feel conviction, if you still care about God, if you still want to grow even while struggling that’s not a heart that’s indifferent. That’s a heart God is still working in. Don’t run from Him in shame. Run to Him in faith.

I disagree with the secular music part. Secular is anything not of God. It’s not exactly a sin to listen to, but if it causes you to sin then it should be cut off. Nursery rhymes are secular because
