My neighbor has half of their shed on my property. I knew it before I bought and have chosen to ignore it. Not the smartest choice but it doesn't bother me and I don't want to go to court over 30sqft.

As a land surveyor. Yes. Get iron pins and mark them well. Ask about the land's history and where everything is.

Paid about $1200 on a survey for a 1.1 acre property, found both my neighbors on my property. Definitely worth getting it done
