Those fans have a small Thermoelectric Generator, a thin electronic plate that converts heat to electricity (like solar panel except heat not light).

the diesel heaters are great. I have mine mounted on the exterior of my camper. problem is that the thermostat is on the body

Where are all the same but once you get the diesel heater guaranteed that will be your main heat source. You won’t have to use that fireplace anymore.

I use a diesel heater to heat my cabin 18ft wide x 21ft long 10ft high. I usually leave it on heat setting 3 and it does well til about 0c to -10c.
