@nongelochiume: The Gauteng Sport, Arts, Culture Department lead by @morakane_ announced the Major Events and Grant In Aid beneficiaries. Let's us note from the below mentioned key factors. 1. Township ,Informal Settlement, Semi Rural and Hostel (TISH) 2. Women and Youth and People with Disabilities 3. Social Cohesion and Cultural Diversity 4. LGBTI community 5. International and National impact 6. Majority of these recipients are new and first beneficiaries opening the space for new players and also strategically continuing to supprt some leagcy and developmental progrms all the above elements found expression through this process We must however as a sector continue to lobby and advocate for more skills & development to be channelled towards the sector without any doubt, more resources is needed in the already challenging economy as Gauteng Premier @PLesufi would say “we will continue to pump the economy from all sides“ as creatives we need to ensure we actively and positively contribute towards this process and mission which will assist us as a contributing factor to realise a creative economy in our life time ✊🏽✊🏽 #workingtogetherwecandomore
