It's not just coolant. It's also a lubricant, cleaning & de-sludging, anti-corrosion agent. Keep it in all year round. Flush & replace every 2 years.

You can run engine with the radiator cap off it helps with getting the air out system but once u have bled the system ofc put the cap back on

I’m assuming you did and it was just missed in the video but you probably need to top up the coolant after starting it 👍🏼

I know is hasn’t been in there long but the water that came out is cleaner than any I’ve ever seen come out of a Landy. So that’s good news.

antifreeze is an anti corrosive too so helps stop your internals rotting

Bleeding it up I always put water through the heater with a hose pipe to help make it easier when bleeding.

I mean, you can run it on water and raw eggs at a push. The antifreeze is a clue by its name. But also stops corrosion being the major benefit.
